English Language

CIF English Language Academy offers a range of English classes for beginners, young learners and teenagers, as well as advanced classes for students and professionals.

For kids aged 3, 4 and 5

Toddlers English

This course aims to teach English to toddlers in a fun and engaging way. Listening skills are mainly developed through stories, actions, songs, games, art, role – play and videos. In a fun – filled environment, learners are exposed to the English language naturally developing the skills of:

  • language
  • comprehension and acquisition
  • vocabulary
  • pronunciation
Junior A aged 6 / Junior B aged 7

Pre - Starters

At these courses learners are introduced to the English phonics, writing, and reading. The English language learning becomes an engaging experience through books, e – books, stories, arts and crafts, experiments, cooking, and interactive activities.
For kids aged 8-11

Young Learners

At this level Grammar and Vocabulary are more extensively taught and an equal emphasis is given on Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking skills. By the end of the course, students will be able to confidently communicate in both written and spoken language. After year A, learners can optionally take Cambridge exams.

Teenagers aged 12-14

Young Teens Classes

At this stage teenagers acquire an in-depth language learning experience. Lively activities with clear objectives, age-appropriate topics, real- world contexts and language, projects, and presentations are the tools we use to engage our teen learners. Student-centred learning is a vital part of this course, with tasks that give opportunities to collaborative learning as well.

For learners aged 14-16

Advanced Learners

Now is the time for our learners to be prepared for the most challenging exams (FCE/IGCSE/IELTS) that can either enable them to access a university or meet a job language requirement.

Leaners are provided with a plethora of resources to practise, and they are taught the techniques to approach tasks and tests effectively. Extra lessons and mock exams with feedback are also offered.

For students or professionals

Business English Course

This is an extensive business English course designed to bring the real world of International Business into the language – teaching classroom. The course is intended for use by either students preparing for a career in business or those already working and want to improve their English communication skills.

Tailor-made lessons for everyone

One-to-one Lessons

Everyone is different and everyone needs special attention. For this reason, we offer tailor-made lessons for both young and adult learners. Lessons can be attended in the classroom or through video – conferencing.
